Reversed Style, Cheater Pizza!

Check out these beauties! Homemade "cheater" Pizzas Sometimes we all get a little lazy when you home cook food all the time. I was in the mood for pizza and my partner and I decided that utilizing premade crusts (cheater crusts) was okay. We're partaking in a food challenge during the month of February where we both try to avoid "convenience" meals as much as possible but we allowed the crust to be an exception since we're still forming the rest of the pizza. Both of our pizzas had the same toppings but were different in execution. I decided to make my first ever "tomato pie" style pizza where you reverse the sauce and cheese placement. I got the idea from a local pizza shop which has a reverse pizza called the "Ruby Rae". My partner went more of the traditional route but followed my recipe for a supreme style pizza. If you're interested what toppings we used, check out the recipe below! Recipe Links: Pre-Made Pizza Cr...

Grilled Watermelon - An Interesting Way to Have Watermelon

Here are the spoils from tonight's dinner! View post on imgur.com This isn't the first time I've made this recipe but I never thought that you could grill watermelon since it is primarily comprised of... well... water. Grilled watermelon is surprisingly good and ends up having a fairly  "meaty"  texture to it once you've cooked it for a bit. I was also able to test out my awesome new combo grill that my partner purchased me for a surprise birthday present and I'm happy with how well it worked! Best Crispy Tofu Bowl - The Best Tofu Recipe I've Had!

Even if you don't like tofu, you have to admit this looks delicious! View post on imgur.com This is hands down my favorite Tofu based dish! I love how easy it is to prepare and how little time it takes to make it. The tofu comes out perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The blend of flavors plays really well together. It's a refreshing dish that keeps me coming back for more!  I also like to make the Spicy Sweet Chili Sauce homemade as well so you can easily adjust the level of heat. A link to both recipes can be found below. Enjoy! Recipe Links: Best Crispy Tofu Bowl Easy Spicy Sweet Chili Sauce

Upper Peninsula Pasties - First Time Making Pasties

Yesterday we made some delicious pasties! Gallery below... View post on imgur.com I've never made pasties homemade before and I'm surprised to say, they are very easy to make. Now that my partner is having to consume gluten for an upcoming celiac test, it was easy to work with the dough and shape it how we wanted it. I'm sure if I made this gluten free it would be a bit more difficult to shape but not impossible. If you are curious to try the recipe, check it out here:  https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/upper-peninsula-pasties/
